We took off early this morning to go to Paducah and take some furniture to the folks.We stopped in Van Buren at the local BBQ place and had a pulled pork sandwich. This will probably be a stopping place for us each time we go that way as the BBQ is good and it doesn't take too long to eat.
Since the folks moved in with Tutu they are still trying to adjust and the dresser they were using was not adequate so we took them down the one we had in our guest room which had belonged to them in the beginning. I believe it was one they bought when they first were married. The folks seem to be doing OK but Papa is missing his coffee friends and needs to have some time out with the guys. He apparently went to lunch with a group from the "Plant" where he used to work. They meet once a month for lunch so that was a good outing for him.
Hardy and I went to Bob Evans for dinner before we went over to see the folks and we are staying at the Days Inn which has really gone down hill since the last time we stayed there.
