This is our first day back from Texas so we had lots of things to do. First and foremost was buying groceries so we have something to eat so we made a trip into Rolla to get a few things done. We went for breakfast at Penelope's then to Delano's to catch up on the latest in gossip and news. We went to the post office to get our mail that had been held for six months then we went to Walmart for groceries. I actually had a grocery list so followed that and got everything on the list plus lots more, as usual. Hardy let me off at the beginning of our road so I could walk to the house and I was greeted by two cute little dogs that thought they should come home with me. That was a challenge in itself to get the to stay as every time I would turn around and clap my hands and tell them to go home, they thought I was clapping my hands for them to come. They finally got the message when I was about half way home so they turned back.
My sister-in-law Linda is having more cancer surgery today to she is in my thoughts and I am hoping they get it all and she will be on the road to recovery again. More chemo is in the future for her, I guess.
