The house is closed and we are headed back home to Missouri. We drove around Dallas and Ft Worth to Gainsville, TX where we spent the night. We drove around looking for a Brahms Ice Cream and went several miles out of our way before we got back to it. It would have been an OK drive except it was at night.
We got up the next morning and after breakfast went back into town and around the courthouse and then out to the cemetery to look for one of Hardy's relatives' graves but it was raining so hard we didn't get out of the car after we found the cemetery. On the way home we heard that the Dallas area had a tornado go though so I am glad we were north of that mess. The rest of the trip home was pretty uneventful and we made it home around 6:00 p.m.
We only found one mouse in our house so that was a plus although he was dead and stinking but easy to clean the mess.
