Cave Spring School 1838-1966
Monarch's in migration
After breakfast we drove up the west side of Missouri to geocache some more.  Our goal is to get a cache in every county in Missouri.  Our first stop was at South Park in Pierce City near this beautiful spring.  This old bridge was across the creek and had been in use until recently.  We then stopped at this little Cave Spring School which was active from 1838 to 1966.  Hardy lost his coffee cup here and when we went back to find it, it was gone. We then went to a Senior Center in Lamar and the Monarch butterflies were migrating.  We went to an old cemetery out in the middle of nowhere where a lady bush wacker is buried with the last name of Lipscomb.  We wondered if this was some relative to our square dance caller.

There is a large group of Mennonites camped next to us at Roaring River.  They give us beautiful music at night...no instruments except their voices.
