Resaca de la Palma

We followed up with the geocaching today and went to Estero Llano Grande and Resaca de la Palma near Brownsville. Estero Llano Grande is fairly close and very nice except the facilities were closed so the rest rooms were not available for use and this put a strain on the trip. The cache was easy to find and we had a very nice hike around the area. The Resaca was harder to find and we had to back track a couple of times just to get to the park. They were working on the road so we went down a few more roads and finally found another way into the park but it was also closed. We just parked the car and went into the park and took a hike down the trail to the geocache. This was also an easy find and a nice walk in the park.
